The Eiffel Tower and Pont Alexandre III at Sunset - This had been a very dull day in Paris up to this point, with bad weather prevailing. Then the sun wedged itself out from between two clouds, and Paris lit up. Dull skies were replaced with this blue white tone, and light beams and the shadows were moving across the sky like spotlights. I don't mean to sound too flowery, but it went from drab to beautiful in minutes. The Eiffel tower had been in a haze in the distance until it morphed into a silhouette and seemed to move closer. Even the bridge I was standing on, Pont Alexandre III, was painted with the shadows in the foreground from the posts in the bridge guard rails. Nature had been lazy all day, but it made up for it, becoming beautiful at the end. The sunset was great too, but I was trapped in a taxi to a concert and could do nothing to capture it… Next trip!
