My first digital camera photo ever, shot on Nov 6th, 2003 with a Whopping Hi-Tech 4meg Canon A80 camera that fit easily in my shirt pocket and cost about $80 😮 I found this yesterday and thought I'd share my humble 1st try when considering changing from my tried and true film cameras... Three friends relax on the steps of the Institut de France in Paris. An interesting thing happens in this building. For example, what do the words computer, software and e-mail have to do with this place? The Academie Française (activated in 1803 by Napoleon) banned those words from the French language for sounding too “un-French.” They were replaced with the new French words ordinateur, logiciel, and courriel respective...
